I have always loved stories; no matter the format you see them in; books, movies, television shows even. I have a list of books that I want to read that grows constantly and I’ve developed something of a love for reading challenges (though I don’t always do so great at them – after all, I’m only human).

I am a reader who looks for characters I can fall in love with, cry over, and laugh with. When I’m talking about books, I’m honest. I’ll say what I liked and loved about a book and I’ll say nicely what didn’t work for me.

I will read just about any book you put in front of me. My tastes are wide-ranging. So if you have any suggestions feel free to post them in a comment or email them to amongstories@yahoo.com! I look forward to your thoughts.

My dad likes to call me Hannah Mae, but I prefer just my first name, Hannah. I’m 20 years old. I have my mom and grandparents (mom’s side) to thank for my deep and ingrained love of reading and writing. I’m a big sister to two awesome baby brothers.

I’m currently studying Criminal Justice (focusing on corrections and victim services) and Psychology at the University of New Haven in my home state of Connecticut. I have a soft spot for animals, foreign films, romance novels, Ancient Egyptian history, and sushi and I have a strong dislike for ignorant and small-minded people and weather above 80 degrees… and if that’s not more than you ever wanted to know about me then I don’t know what to tell you.
