Reading World Friday – #3

Unfortunately I haven’t done as much reading as I would have liked to this week. I have been absolutely exhausted thanks to the heat (yes, the heat in the northeast. I’m much better at winter than summer). So I  pretty much just pass out everynight instead of accomplishing the reading I usually get done.

I can say with happiness that a recent Barnes and Noble online shopping excursion has concluded with the delivery of my books today! I’ve got a shit-eating grin on my face. I won’t deny it.

For those who are interested, what did I order?
Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett
Tess of the D’Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy
Death at the Priory: Love, Sex and Murder in Victorian England by James Ruddick
What Makes A Terrorist: Economics and the Roots of Terrorism by Alan B. Krueger
The Mind of the Terrorist: The Psychology of Terrorism from the IRA to Al-Qaeda by Jerrold M. Post

I know my bookshelves are already busting at the seams, but I just could help myself!

I won’t be able to pick up any of the new stuff yet since I promised myself I would finish all of the books I started before I started more. I also promised my mom that I would read Amsterdam by Ian McEwan once I finished them all. But at least I have them for when I’m ready to start ’em, eh!

Happy Reading!
