So, I’ve been trying to keep up with the blogging portion of the whole experience, but this past week I’ve been doing a lot of reading, but I’ve also been doing a lot of writing which is nice, because it’s been a while.
I’ve been doing a lot of digging in the whole romance genre of books, ever since that Nora Roberts trilogy I’ve been looking for books of the lovey dovey with a happy ending type. I’ve found and even read quite a few good books this week in the genre, but there are times I find myself feeling like a cheeseball.
Aside from the reading and writing I have once again failed miserably at curbing my book spending. I bought more than a dozen new books this week, all of which I am quite excited about, but I am no longer holding myself to a no book buying standard. Hopefully, by not refusing myself to buy books I won’t feel the need to spend as much when I do.
With that mini-update I’ll call it, because nothing truly exciting has been going on (unless melting at work in the heat most of the week is exciting to you) I’ll bid you adieu so I can get ready to head up to my dad’s to babysit my little brothers.
