What book tops your TBR (to be read) pile right now? Is it something you own, or something you have to borrow, or something you’ll be purchasing? Why do you want to read it so badly?
Well, I have to admit, that I already cracked into two of the books that seemed most interesting in my TBR pile. The first one is Broken by Shiloh Walker. The second is Douglass’ Women by Jewell Parker Rhodes.
Out of all the other books in my TBR pile, the one that tops it all would have to be a tie between two books.
First is Suite Française by Irène Némirovsky. I have seen quite a few reviews for this book lately. I recently bought a copy of my own and have been looking forward to reading it.
Second is Generation Me by Jean Twenge.I had browsed the book a bit a little while back, but recently when I went to the bookstore I decided to buy it. I read the back again and now I am really even more interested than I was before to read it.
Both of these books I have already purchased, but I want to read them so badly because I have heard and read great things about them both. Unfortunately, I have a tendency to just grab a book and read it, so even if I don’t read these to right away, you can believe that I am anticipating the day that I crack them open.
Broken sounds really intriguing…hope you enjoy it.
Here’s my musing:

I have decided to tackle the oldest books on my list.
Here is mine
Both books look good, hope you enjoy them! 🙂
Laurel – I finished Broken, it was phenomenal! Thanks!
Bluestocking – That’s actually a great idea. Going back to the older books, to make the list you had to have been excited at the prospect of reading them, so why not finally get to those books that have taken the backseat.
DelGal – Thanks! I’m really excited to finish up the other books I’ve been reading and get to them.
