Musing Mondays – Book Sources

Where do you buy/get most of your books?

Up front I buy books, religiously. I hate taking them out from the library because then I have to give them back and I don’t like doing that.

Generally I get all of my books from Barnes & Noble. I have the membership so I get discounts on everything, plus free express shipping (1 to 3 days), plus I can get eBooks easily if I choose to get them. I’m at Barnes & Noble at least once if not twice or thrice a week. It’s bad, I have a problem… Yes, I know.

My secondary book store is Borders. I like Borders and I do have a Borders rewards card, but for some reason I always end up at Barnes & Noble first.

Don’t get me wrong, I love secondhand bookstores too. I have a couple in the area that I like as well as a few up in Vermont that I go to when I’m on vacation. I have found some treasures in used bookstores as well.

My default however will always be Barnes & Noble, I love going to the store and shopping online and slinking around the cafe doing homework and reading. It’s good stuff.

I love Barnes & Noble, too, and have the membership (plus coupons) discounts. I already have so many books on my stacks (from previous buying binges) that I haven’t really had to buy very many this year. I don’t really have restraint! lol

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Ah, those of us with lack of restraint ought to band together then!

Do I sense a support group in the making? Sign me up.

Perhaps you do. I know I would probably benefit from it.
