Do you prefer hardcovers, trade paperbacks (the bigger ones), or mass market paperbacks (the smaller ones)? Why?
Honestly, aside from prefering paperbacks over hardcover, I don’t particularly care. Hardcovers have a tendency to be big and bulky and a pain in the butt to bring places, but I do have some. As far as paperbacks are concerned, I don’t care about whether they are trade or mass paperback. I can read them both just the same. They are easy to carry and I can definitely fit more of them on my numerous shelves.
I suppose the only thing that bugs me about mass market paperbacks is that you’ve really got to hold them open or they flip right closed on you. The trade paperbacks I don’t have that problem with. But either way, they are both fairly cheap, easy to read, and easy to carry whereever my little heart desires.
Any preferences on your end?
I prefer e-books… but that wasn’t an option. 🙂 I don’t really take books places, so I don’t mind hardcovers.
I like ebooks too, and I certainly read my fair share of them, but there’s something about holding a book in my hand and the feel of the pages. I could never give that up. And honestly, I always have books with me. I can’t go anywhere without one. It’s an addiction. 🙂
