Today is November 9th! We all know what this means! Lorelei James releases of Slow Ride and Cowgirls Don’t Cry are here! While I did get the free read Slow Ride, and loved it dearly, I have not yet gotten my hands on a copy of Cowgirls Don’t Cry. Why is this? Well I’ve been checking Barnes & Noble every half hour or so (yes I am THAT anxious to read this book) and they still have not put it up for download yet while Amazon and MBaM have had it since, well, midnight. Part of being the poor college student that I am, the only form of currency that I currently had to my name is a B and N giftcard. Go figure. But I’m at the point where I’m going to take up my friends offer to let me use their credit card and just pay them back with the cash. That way I’ll shut up and stop bitching.
Responses from those who are not facing my dilemma of only have B and N purchase availability have been loving the book. I’ve heard great things about it and truly cannot wait to get my copy. All day I’ve been jumping. Since yesterday really.
I’m not going to divulge any of the details behind Slow Ride, yet, except to say it was a great short story. I want to first get CDC read and then get all of the reviews up. I have a feeling I’m going to be posting a couple of quickie mass reviews ove the next two days to make sure I can talk about the new book, so keep your eyes peeled.
From here I suppose its ttfn. I’m going to go pretend to accomplish some school work or work on my Nano novel whilst I continue my anxious blabbing about CDC until I get my own copy.
