Booking Through Thursday – Borrowing

Who would you rather borrow from? Your library? Or a Friend?

(Or don’t your friends trust you to return their books?)

And, DO you return books you borrow?

 When it comes to borrowing books, I almost never borrow from a library. Don’t get me wrong, I have a library card. It was part of my initiative to spend less money on books this year, and it failed miserably. I have only used the thing once. And while I might like to go to the library more often, I just don’t have the time to get there when its actually open. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

I do borrow lots of books from friends though. One of the women I work with especially. The two of us swap books constantly. We give each other recommendations and so forth. Then of course we trade opinions, decide who loved and hated what. We do the same with movies. Its good stuff.

And I ALWAYS return a book I borrowed. It might take me a little while to get through a book that is lent to me, but I will return it. I know I get pissed when someone tries to make off with my books so I would never do that to another person.
