This week’s Top Ten Tuesday is about all those books you’re looking forward to reading in 2011.
Since I can’t really sit here and put only ten books that I want to read onto a list, I’m just going for it. What I’m looking forward to:
A few memoirs, which we all know I love to read, being released during 2011…
Life Would be Perfect if I Lived in That House by Meghan Daum
Orange is the New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison by Piper Kerman
Bigger than Life: A Murder, a Memoir by Dinah Lenney
The following are new installments in romance series’ I’ve been reading due for 2011 release…
Vampire Mine (and the other books I haven’t read from this series yet) by Kerrelyn Sparks – Connor’s book is finally coming!
This Side of the Grave by Jeaniene Frost – New Cat and Bones
Dead Reckoning by Charlaine Harris – New Sookie Stackhouse
Saddled and Spurred by Lorelei James – The second book in LJ’s new series Blacktop Cowboys
Chasin’ Eight by Lorelei James – Book eleven in the Rough Riders series
Deeper Than Midnight by Lara Adrian – The next Midnight Breed installment
I’m also looking forward to…
Starting L. Ron Hubbard’s Mission Earth Dekalogy, which I dug up in a recent visit to the bookstore and which looks quite promising
Sex with Kings and Sex with the Queen by Eleanor Herman, which my mom has told me time and again to sit down and read
The Dead Janitors Club by Jeff Klima, a memoir of a crime scene cleaner
Hound Dog by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, which I found randomly during my Vermont bookstore trek this summer and which I admit to buying because it has Elvis Presley on the cover, and we all know how I love Elvis.
