Lately I haven’t been reading. Honestly, with as crappy as I’ve been feeling I just have not had the attention span for a book. Instead I lounge around and watch movies I’ve seen over one hundred times (The Matrix Trilogy, X-Men, etc) and I click around the internet, because there’s nothing else to do.
My trek through the world wide web has led me to an interesting project called Symphony of Science. The goal of said project is to raise scientific and philosophical knowledge through musical media. The videos come out pretty awesome. Basically videos are made from interviews from the likes of Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan, Richard Dawkins, and many other highly regarded scientists and mixed with music. It’s pretty fun. The most recent video is about the ‘Big Bang’ or the beginning. Other videos cover topics such as Mars, promotion of scientific reasoning, and a few other topics. While I have not watched all of the available videos yet, the ‘Big Bang’ and Mars videos are my favorite. =] So go check it out if you’re interested in science in a musical format.
Lastly, on a much less intellectual note… I found this video on a fellow book lovers blog. This video was perfect when I was in dire need of a laugh, so enjoy!
BRILLIANT video! [rotflmao]
I’m glad you enjoyed it.
