Musing Mondays: February 18th

musingmondays

Today is Musing Mondays – and it’s coming with a few new additions!

Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…

• Describe one of your reading habits.
• Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s).
• Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying it.

*NEW!* … thanks to Caite, I’m adding a new weekly question to MM, and that is: Do you have a bookish rant? Something about books or reading (or the industry) that gets your ire up? Share it with us!

*NEW!* … Caite also inspired me to add:  Instead of the above questions, maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it, then!

Even though there are new options for MM today, I’m actually going to talk about a current read. longlongsleep

I’m currently working on A Long, Long Sleep by Anna Sheehan. It’s actually one of my ‘review catch-up’ books. To be quite honest, I don’t know how I feel about it yet. Kinda ehh, is the best way to put it I suppose. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it either. I do have questions though, so I’m going to keep reading if only to get answers. Hopefully it will get better as I keep reading because I really do want to like this book.

How about you guys? Reading anything good? Do tell.

Habit: I always carry a book with me & will read it anywhere and anytime I have a spare 5 minutes.

Recent purchase: Another Bloody Century – Modern Warfare by Colin S Gray (landed on my mat today from Amazon).

Reading right now: Ian Fleming’s Commandos by Nicholas Rankin (less that 80 pages to go).
