Hey y’all’s! I’m ba-ack!
Back in the year 2010 I thought about blogging, and I eventually just told myself to stop thinking about it and do it. Over the last year or so I’ve been thinking about where it all started and about how much I miss the blogging community and engaging with others about all things bookish. Yet, aside from lurking a bit at some of my favorite blogs, I haven’t come back.
A lot of my hesitancy stems from not being sure what I have to say at this point and whether or not I can generate enough content to justify coming back here. However, at the end of the day, this is simply my space to say what I want or need to say. There is also no rule that says that this blog can’t grow with me or reflect the person I’ve become over the course of the last 6 odd years. So perhaps I’m not reading 130 books a year anymore, or I want to talk about something that’s not, gasp!, books. It’s allowed. There isn’t anything at all wrong with that. I really do miss having this outlet though, so even if I only manage to use it once a month, so be it.
Change is one of the realities of life, and if I can change as a person, I think this blog can change a little with me. So instead of thinking about coming back here and missing the blogging community, I am just going to do it.
Welcome back. Has it REALLY been 6 years! Wow. I left you on my Blog List (obviously) so saw that you’re back. This Blog is YOURS. Post as much or as little as you like on anything that you like – that’s what it’s all about.
Thanks CK! I can’t believe how long it’s been either, but it really does seem like coming home. I’ll stop by and say hi, but I have to say quick that I did see your review of Feed. I’ve had it on my TBR for a while and I think I even bought it at one point, but I haven’t read it yet. Might have to move that one up the list especially since we might not be that far off from zombies at this point!
‘Feed’ was pretty good. Oddly I’m in a bit of a post-apocalyptic mood ATM so there’s more coming…… Go Figure! Then again I do often refer to the ‘present situation’ as the zombie apocalypse so who know’s what’s coming next. But at least anyone who reads SF or watches The Walking Dead will take it all in their stride!
