Hi bloggy world! I’ve disappeared for a while because work was insane and school was whooping my ass, but I made it! I finished my last final of the summer semester this past Friday. This next week is the one week in between my summer and fall semester so I did a smart thing and took it off from both of my jobs for an actual week off from all responsibility. 🙂
As the universe would have it, this week is also the Bout of Books read-a-thon which I loved doing in the past, but haven’t participated in for years. So…. I’m gonna do it! I don’t have much going on this week, so I should be able to read a goodly amount, the one thing I am doing is painting, so my books are all over the house right now and I have little clue where many of them are so it’ll be fun to see what I manage to find.
The Bout of Books readathon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. The first book I’ll be reading is The Library of the Unwritten by A.J. Hackwith. I started this book back in June and it is so so so good and I can’t stop thinking about it and what’s going to happen. Unfortunately the aforementioned school and work took priority, but now I can finally give this book the attention it deserves and finish it. From there… who knows.
