Once upon a time there was a meme in the book blogosphere (which may still exist somewhere, but I don’t know because I am out of touch) called Teaser Tuesday where we opened to a random page and shared teasers from our current reads. Well it’s a thrilling Friday night here (books and my last night of covid isolation, yah!) and so that means I’m sharing a teaser of my main read for this weekend.
