Month in Review: August 2022

Hi all! August is just about over which is literally insane to me. It was a busy month as I was working extra hours at both jobs this month to cover vacations. Plus I have family visiting right now. Now it’s my turn though and I’m headed to Scotland with my best friend tonight!

This month I read:

Reading was a struggle this month. I read only one book this month which is unfortunate.

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

This month I hauled:

Nothing! Maybe a couple of eBooks, but really a whole month and I didn’t buy a single physical book. What a month.

What’s up next:

I’ve decided that my vacation book is going to be Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. I’ll have plenty of travel time to read between airport, plane, and train’s over the next week. Plus, I just want to know instead of continuing to look at the series on my shelf and wondering why I don’t ever pick the damn thing up.

Other than that, I’m leaning towards starting my Mercy Thompson reread when I get home and continuing on with the Shadowhunters series… I think. I’m torn and I have thoughts and so I don’t know about that yet.

All in all, a quiet book month for me. Maybe I can live vicariously through others though! Let me know what your favorite reads from August were!

Until next time, Happy Reading!
