September 2022: Month in Review

Hi All! Another month has passed and what a month it’s been. I started it out on vacation, did some reading, and spent a lot of time working and trying to get back onto my normal schedule which has been a bit of a joke, but who doesn’t love a laugh. I didn’t read a lot of books, but overall, the quality of what I did read (even if half were re-reads) was very good, so I’m happy.

This month I read:

City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare 3ish stars
Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson 5 stars
A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik – re-read 5 stars
The Last Graduate by Naomi Novik – re-read 5 stars

I’m currently reading:

This month I hauled:

These books are all from my vacation shopping. I was with my best friend who is not a reader like I am, but she was nice enough to tolerate my need to go book shopping. Of course we visited Armchair Books in Edinburgh as well as the Topping & Co. in Edinburgh.

Waste Tide by Chen Qiufan, Translated by Ken Liu
Madness by Roald Dahl
War by Roald Dahl
And the Ass Saw the Angel by Nick Cave
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (I started buying a copy of this book in every country or majorly important to me bookstore that I visit seeing as it’s basically my favorite of all time!)
Wolfsong by T.J. Klune

In addition to the above, I also picked up the rest of the Shadowhunter books and two others that I grabbed on a spur of the moment Barnes & Noble trip.

How was your September? Any reads to recommend?

Until next time, Happy Reading!
